Motel Gunning is making a fresh start for 2015

Funny, but it seems it was only yesterday, when I made my blog for the motel. How time flies ,because when I looked at my last entry , it was few years back. I know that today I want to have a fresh start  .
Where do I begin. after the long absence, So many things happened in the motel.
We have refurbished our rooms, repainted  and try to do the best that we can possible to improve our service to our guests to make  their stay enjoyable as much as comfortable. We just have new 5-star beds in our rooms, new sheets and replaced the  curtains in every room. Thanks to the people who   supported the business who made our projects for the motel a success. There are still some room for improvements though but we will do our best that they will be achieved in due time.
We have  some good rain in the place that I'm glad to show you how the grounds of Gunning Motel look like in the middle of summer 2015. But if you are interested what's new in Gunning Motel why not visit our Facebook page.Search for Gunning Motel and don't forget to like us inFacebook.

WELCOME TO MOTEL GUNNING

Hello everyone,
This is our first time to be in this web page but I think we will like to be part of this blogging business, where we can express how we feel about anything and everything. We hope you do too, because from now on , you will know more about us and hoping we know more about you when you post something in our blog .
I'm Elizabeth and my husband's name is Peter. We both run this
motel in the town of Gunning, New South Wales, Australia for the past six years.Running the motel is a combination of hard work and perseverance .In the country where draught always pose a problem, we just leave everything in nature's hand, so if you visit the place you might find that some months our gardens are really green and full of life and the next time it is a complete opposite. Until next time.

Lovable birds and animals

It is not unusual to wake up with the sight and sound of the birds in the motel. Being in a 2.5 acre land, birds like the pink gahlas, cockatoo, rosellas, mugpie, kookabura and little finches normally roam around the motel yards. This is a haven for them .Sheeps and horses can also be seen in the place but not on motel grounds. They really add that real country feeling. We don't allow dogs inside our rooms, which cause disappointments to some of our guests because they don't like to leave their pets outside.Lately ,we have some lovely stray pussy cats, but as they grew older, they left the place.I love them to stay around but ...although I see them occassionaly .We have a resident cat though and its name is Johna.
